Jay Bailey

I'm Jay Bailey, a 20-year-old, Afro-Rican filmmaker born and raised in the modern paradise of the Bronx, NY. I've been surrounded by film and have been creating films of my own since I was 10. Storytelling is my life. It's embedded in who I am as a person. I've always set absurdly high standards for myself and my work, as I believe storytelling to be one of the greatest creations in human history. I look to tell stories that change people.

A woman with short dark curly hair and light brown skin wearing a pink top, looking attentively in front of her with a gentle smile, sitting in front of a wall with floral artwork.
A man with blond hair and a beard sitting indoors with sunlight coming through a window with yellow curtains.
A man playing an acoustic guitar in a dimly lit room decorated with string lights.
Close-up of a person sleeping with a black hoodie, lying on a bed with a purple blanket, and a man in the background smiling and looking away.
A man with blonde hair and a beard, wearing a striped shirt, looking over his shoulder in a room with warm and purple lighting.
Close-up of a drawer with a white paper label that has 'Liz' handwritten on it, attached with tape.
A close-up of a person's hand gripping a metal surface, with a wedding ring visible on the ring finger.
A man with a beard and a woman wearing a black beanie embrace each other in a heartfelt hug, with the woman resting her head on the man's chest.
