Bengal Memory

A Bangladeshi American undertakes a journey to learn about Bangladesh’s liberation war and his family’s immigration to America, while grappling with the cognitive dissonance of belonging to both countries. Through personal interviews, archival materials, and declassified recordings, the film exposes the forgotten genocide of 1971 and the controversial role the U.S. played in it.

Revolution Selfie; War with No Name

A filmmaker goes to meet the Yazidi people of Northern Iraq and finds himself trapped behind the lines in a deadly war, pitting a nascent feminist revolution against the international machinations of terrorists and imperial powers.

The Architects of Hope: The First Steps in Rebuilding Ukraine

The film follows 5 architects on their determined journeys to continue creating & building during wartime, as they seek a new people-focused identity for Ukrainian architecture. While Russia continues to turn former Ukrainian cities to dust, Ukraine’s leading architects are already building upwards & advanced new buildings are rising again as symbols of hope. Schools, hospitals and new homes are not only taking shape, but each new project is a chance to use adversity to create a wellspring of new creative solutions that move modern architecture forward.
